01

Antenatal and Postnatal Care (ANC & PNC)

Care before and after birth is connected so that pregnancy progress, recovery and newborn needs can be reviewed at the right time.

Antenatal care

Antenatal consultations, review of pregnancy progress and assessment of concerns that need closer follow-up.

Postnatal care

Review after delivery, with attention to recovery, feeding questions and concerns that arise after birth.

Newborn check

Routine newborn assessment, with paediatric review when a baby needs additional clinical care.

02

Birth and Caesarean Delivery

Care during labour, regular checks and support for normal birth or Caesarean delivery when medically needed.

Labour and delivery

During labour and after birth, the team monitors both mother and baby, explains significant changes and arranges senior review or referral when a higher level of care is required.

How the delivery plan is decided

The safest delivery approach is based on your medical situation, including how labour progresses and the health of mother and baby. If a Caesarean delivery is recommended, the team explains why the plan needs to change.
